This privacy policy explains how the Work Time App handles your personal data. The app is intended for private individuals and helps you track your working time.

What data is processed
- Profile and account data you provide (e.g. name and email address).
- Your time tracking entries and related details (e.g. start, end, breaks, absences).
- Technical data required for the app to run (e.g. your settings).
Purposes of processing
Your data is used solely to provide the time tracking features of the app: recording, displaying, and evaluating your working time, and managing your account.
Where your data is stored
Your data is first stored locally on your device. If you use an account, your entries and account data are also synchronised with the server so they are backed up and available across your devices.
Retention and deletion
How long your entries are kept and when they are removed automatically is described in the Data storage & deletion section of the app.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You can delete your data using the features in the app or uninstall the app. For requests, contact us at work_time@mv-app.info.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy. We will inform you of significant changes in an appropriate way, for example with an in-app notice.

Where your data is stored
Your time entries and profile information are stored on your device. If you use an account, they are also synchronised with the server so they are backed up and available across your devices.
Retention period
Entries are kept for up to three years. Older entries are then removed automatically so that your data is not stored indefinitely.
Notice before deletion
Before older entries are removed, you receive a notice in the app. This lets you back up the affected entries beforehand via More → Export.
What you can do yourself
You can remove data at any time using the features in the app, for example deleting individual entries or your account data. Uninstalling the app removes local app data from your device, subject to your operating system's behaviour.
Website
This website uses no analytics or advertising services and sets no cookies. The IP address is processed technically to deliver the site; access logging is not enabled in the current Caddy configuration.
